Ongoing drought problems along with hard bore water prompted Terry Magner owner of Top Class Turf to invest in a Grander System.
“The first thing that I noted was that the infiltration rate had increased by about 50%; the finer water molecules entered the soil. This brought with it a number of benefits, saving in our water usage, the soil held the water for a long period, thus extending the watering time between watering,” he said.
Fertigation is regular practice in Top Class Turfs Fertilizer Program.
“The plants ability to take up the nutrient has also increased and we are now able to get the required result with less fertilizing,” he said.
“Bore water has a high Sodium Absorption Ratio and we were getting some effects of salinity. These effects disappeared within two weeks of installing the Grander System.

“I can only say that we are very happy with the system and that it has made a big difference to the production and quality of our Turf Product.”
